Can I talk in the library?

Answer

First Floor

  • Talking is allowed and encouraged on the first floor.
  • Patrons are encouraged to use the first floor for open group study when a study room isn't available.
  • There is mixed seating available for different group needs.
  • The library teaches classes and workshops on the first floor, so silent study is not guaranteed.

Second Floor

  • The second floor is a dedicated silent study space.
  • Patrons are asked to use the lobby for calls and discussion.
  • Groups are asked to use study rooms for group work.
  • Patrons may be asked to relocate if they are causing a disruption.
